Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT)
is an effective treatment for clients who struggle with managing emotions, impulsivity and who have difficulties in relationships with others. The aim of MBT is to help you pause and reflect on the thoughts, feelings, images and sensations that go through your mind. You will learn to become more aware of times you may be making assumptions about what other people think and feel about you. Clients who have undergone MBT therapy report feeling calmer and more in control of their emotions.
